This was the first year that coach Berg was involved in the team. He accepted a position at Lane Tech and immediately got involved in the Ultimate Program thanks to Miriam Hyman reaching out at the beginning of the year. Coach Jose had been coaching previously and stayed on with the team. He continued to run weekend practices.
The team had been competing in CUJO for a number of years but had yet to go to a tournament or compete in the State Championship.
The team created the name voLTage and created our first logo. We were sponsored by the Chicago Wildfire, Chicago's AUDL team that played at Lane Stadium. We helped set up and tear down for games.
